Is it Spring?

Well, I am feeling way behind on blogging, but just wanted to take a minute to update a few things. I had an OB appt. this am (I'm 28 weeks), and feel so grateful that all is going well with the baby. Of course, then he asked how I was feeling and I had quite a laundry list for him, which didn't phase him at all. "Yep, that is normal. Yep, that can happen with a third pregnancy." I'm grateful that the increase of all the pains involved with pregnancy is normal, but at the same time, I'm not hesitant to say that I haven't really been "enjoying" this pregnancy. I cannot wait to be holding this little trouble maker in my arms, instead of my insides! With that said, let's focus on the good things! :o)

John is doing so well in school, and I've had a lot of fun watching him lately. He is still crazy about Star Wars and drawing constantly. I need to post some of his latest artistic creations...

Sara is loving pre-school, and she is so ready for kindergarten. I will miss having her around in the mornings, though--she is so easy-going and is a great helper no matter what I ask her. She says she will still help with the baby when she gets home. What a cutie!

Jared just had a birthday, and we had a fun day celebrating. We went to a Chinese buffet, and Jared offered money to the kids to eat the squid legs, and they didn't hesitate to take him up on it. John even went back for more! Gag. I ate till I couldn't walk anymore (oh, wait, I already can hardly walk lately!), and then we went to the closest Cabela's. Par-tay, right? Anyway, that's what Jared wanted to do, so whatever! He has had so much fun with the kids lately, and I appreciate it so much! They have been getting into setting up marble courses (think miniature golf meets marbles) all around the house, and they bought a bunch of seeds to start growing, and they have also been playing a lot of games on the computer. He also has been reading a lot with them--Treasure Island with John and Alice in Wonderland with Sara. We still can't really get outside much. Minnesota doesn't know it's Spring. It snowed all day yesterday. Super gag. Glad we were part of the snowiest winter on record!

Hmm, what else have we been up to? It seems like I/we spend a lot of time with piano stuff lately. I now have 15 students, so it is really feeling like work, although I quite enjoy it most of the time. I think it might be quite a trick to try to schedule the baby around piano, but I'm determined to make it work, and have put in my order for an easy going baby. John and Sara usually do really well with piano going on, and they especially love it if there is a sibling to hang out with them. Sara has had a few of them writing down a story as she tells it. She loves that.

I also spend quite a bit of time with the Young Women, but I love that, too. Our stake is doing girls' camp in Nauvoo this year, and I am totally bummed I won't be going, but it has been a relief to have someone else in charge of that.

Well, John and Sara have been at a friend's house for quite a while, so I should probably go get them! Don't want to overstay their welcome! I'll try (as I always say) to post more regularly--and get some more pictures up. Jared says I should be sure to document this pregnancy very well, so then if/when we start to get the "itch" again, we might re-think it. I don't know if that'll work, but anyway, we'll see what happens. :o)
